Four class D channels

The Bias Q5 lines up four class D mono channels, bridgeable in pairs. Each channel delivers 1600 W into 8 Ω and 3000 W into 4 Ω. The patented SRM (Smart Rails Management) technology ensures high efficiency, and automatic power sharing optimises the load on asymmetric channels.

Rear connectivity

Four XLR analogue inputs and four AES3 channels on two XLR connectors receive the signal. Two speakON connectors serve channels 1-2 and 3-4. Two etherCON ports provide the network link for control and monitoring.

1U rack format

The chassis measures 483 x 44.5 x 495 mm and weighs 15 kg, for mounting in a 19-inch rack. The universal 90 to 264 V supply accepts single-phase, two-phase or three-phase mains. Consumption stays below 100 W at idle and 3500 W at maximum.

DSP and monitoring

The built-in DSP processes the signal in 40-bit floating point, with FIR and IIR equalisers, crossover filters and limiters. ArmoníaPlus software controls and monitors each channel remotely. The Void preset marketplace offers optimised frequency and phase responses.
