The Reference monoblocks came from customers asking for a tube amplifier with far more power than the brand's previous models. Unison Research presents them as the culmination of its years of tube amplifier design. They are sold per unit, in a Cherry or Walnut finish; a stereo system needs two.

Four 845 triodes per unit

Each mono unit lines up four 845 triodes with one ECC82 and one ECC83 in a double parallel single-ended output stage. It works in pure class A and delivers 80 W. Frequency response covers 20 Hz to 30 kHz, with 14 dB of feedback.

RCA and XLR inputs

Each unit has one RCA input at 47 kΩ and one XLR input at 10 kΩ. The loudspeaker outputs accept bi-wiring and offer 4 Ω and 8 Ω taps.
