175-watt monobloc

The NAP 350 is a monobloc: one channel per chassis, with one unit per loudspeaker. It delivers 175 W into 8 Ω at 0.1% THD+N, and 345 W into 4 Ω at 1%. The damping factor is 36 into 8 Ω.

NA009 output stage

The output stage, designed for high current, relies on matched pairs of Statement NA009 transistors developed by Naim. The circuit works in linear class A/B and draws its energy from fully regulated DR power supplies. The heatsinks use an aluminium alloy chosen for its thermal conductivity.

Dynamic headroom and measurements

Burst power reaches 610 W into 2 Ω at 1% THD+N, and peak current into 1 Ω climbs to ±42 A, or 1.7 kW of peak power. Total harmonic distortion plus noise is quoted at 0.006%, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 114 dB referenced to 175 W into 8 Ω. Frequency response covers 1.4 Hz to 100 kHz at -3 dB.

Balanced input and supplied cables

The main input is a balanced XLR loaded at 47 kΩ, and a 34 kΩ single-ended connection remains possible with an adaptor lead. Input clipping occurs at 1.33 Vrms, for a gain of +29 dB. The Power-Line Lite mains cable, an XLR-XLR interconnect and an optical automation cable are supplied. The unit measures 43.2 × 31.75 × 9.15 cm, weighs 16.5 kg and draws 24 W in everyday use.
