The Rega Nd9 is a stereo moving magnet phono cartridge. Its nude Fine Line diamond and boron cantilever read the groove at 1.75 g, with an output of 5 to 6 mV suited to any moving magnet phono input.

Nude Fine Line diamond

The Nd9 is fitted with a nude diamond of Fine Line profile. Nominal tracking force is set at 1.75 g. The output voltage of 5 to 6 mV matches any moving magnet phono input.

Boron cantilever

The cantilever is made of boron. It works with a neodymium magnet and miniaturised parallel coils, within a generator specific to Rega. Every cartridge is hand-assembled.

PPS body and fixing

The body is moulded in a very rigid PPS. Rega's three-point fixing is reserved for the brand's tonearms. The amber-coloured window identifies the model at first glance.
