The optical zoom changes the image size without moving the projector or losing resolution. From 0.98 to 1.3:1, the Elfin Flip 4K covers 40 to 200 inches, with a recommended range of 60 to 150 inches. Keystone is corrected continuously up to a 40° side angle, and wall colour adaptation readjusts the tint of the image.
A 0.39-inch DLP chip displays 3840 x 2160 pixels, lit by three red, green and blue lasers at 1600 ISO lumens. Dynamic contrast reaches 20,000:1 with DBLE enabled, and the palette covers 110% of the BT.2020 space. In high colour accuracy mode, the typical factory value is a ΔE below 1, certified by SGS.
In game mode with VRR active, latency drops to 1 ms at 1080p and 120 Hz. ALLM and MEMC complete the setup, the latter smoothing fast motion. Two HDMI inputs, one with eARC, take a console and a player, and an audio output sends the sound to an external system.
At 1.55 kg and 254 x 245 x 78 mm, the Elfin Flip 4K lifts like a compact laptop and moves easily from room to room. Google TV and a 7 W Harman Kardon speaker are built in. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 handles streaming, and Google Cast mirrors a phone's screen.
