The Leica Summicron zoom lens covers a throw ratio of 0.9 to 1.5. Depending on distance and zoom, the Cine Play 1 forms a 4K image from 65 to 300 inches. Alignment is fully automatic: plug the projector in and it frames its image without manual adjustment.
Three red, green and blue lasers drive the 0.47-inch DLP XPR chip directly and reach up to 3000 lumens in Ultra mode. The palette exceeds 100% of the Rec. 2020 space, in Dolby Vision, HDR10+ or HLG, for a native contrast of 1500:1 and a dynamic contrast of 2 million:1. Leica Image Optimization (LIO) processing and MEMC interpolation support the image, and 3D runs via DLP Link.
The VIDAA U7.6 system gives access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube through direct buttons on the aluminium remote with built-in microphone. The projector works with Apple AirPlay and HomeKit, over Wi-Fi 6 or Bluetooth 5.3. Two HDMI 2.1 inputs, one of them eARC, take games consoles with latency under 12 ms in 1080p at 120 Hz.
The one-piece aluminium chassis, closed by a front glass panel and an aluminium rear panel, measures 261 x 242 x 229 mm and weighs about 6.7 kg. Its speakers sit in a 1.25-litre enclosure and deliver 2 x 10 W with DTS Virtual:X. In operation, noise stays below 29 dB(A) at 1 m, and an optional floor stand powers it through contacts, with no visible cable.
