The M-CR612 combines a CD player, a tuner and an amplifier in a compact format. It delivers two channels of 60 watts into 6 ohms and can drive two pairs of speakers, A and B, each with its own volume. Its four 30 W channels can also be used for bi-amping or in Parallel BTL mode.
The HEOS platform, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth give access to Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music and Deezer, as well as AirPlay 2. High-resolution playback reaches FLAC 192 kHz/24-bit and DSD 5.6. Music can be shared across several rooms.
The built-in CD player reads CD and CD-R/RW discs, while the tuner receives DAB, DAB+ and FM. A rear USB port and optical inputs add further sources. A headphone output and a subwoofer output are provided.
The unit measures 280 mm wide, 303 mm deep and 111 mm high, and weighs 3.4 kg. A three-line OLED display shows the information and the front illumination can be switched off. A clock, a programmable timer and a sleep timer complete the package, which ships with the RC014CR remote control and a DAB antenna. Available in Black or Silver Gold.
