Rubidium and word clocks

The MC20 pairs a 10 MHz rubidium reference with word clocks at 44.1 and 48 kHz. Connected units lock to one or the other. An OCXO section completes the rubidium module.

Rear panel: BNC outputs, module hatch and mains socket

Multiple clock outputs

The rear panel gathers the clock outputs on BNC sockets. Several units can be served at the same time. A hatch gives access to the internal module.

Interior: clock boards, rubidium module and heat sinks

Internal construction

The rubidium module, the clock boards and the power supply occupy distinct areas of the chassis. Shielding separates the sensitive sections. The unit weighs 20.3 kilograms.
