DALI EPIKORE 3 bookshelf speaker, EVO-K hybrid tweeter module and a 7-inch woofer, piano-lacquered cabinet. Sold individually, four finishes.

The EPIKORE 3 carries the hybrid tweeter module developed for the KORE: a 35 mm soft dome paired with a 55 x 10 mm planar element. The dome covers the upper midrange and treble, the planar takes over at 12.5 kHz and runs to 34 kHz. Splitting them keeps one diaphragm from working across the whole top end.
The crossover is three-way, at 2800 and 12500 Hz, which is unusual in a shelf format. The 7-inch woofer reaches down to 42 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB. Sensitivity is 85 dB at 6 ohms, so the speaker asks for an amplifier with reserve, from 40 to 250 W.
The cabinet is veneered in real wood then piano-lacquered, assembled by DALI in Denmark. The structure is built to stay inert: at this level what matters is what the enclosure does not add. Each speaker weighs 22 kg.
DALI recommends 35 to 120 cm between the speaker and the rear wall. A dedicated EPIKORE stand exists, sand-fillable, to bring the driver to ear height. Four finishes are offered: black, white, walnut and maroon, all with the Shadow Black grille.
