The Voice 22 is a two-way bookshelf speaker, offered here as a single unit. It takes a power of 50 to 150 watts, for a sensitivity of 89 dB and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. Its response extends from 55 Hz to 24 kHz within plus or minus 3 dB.
The 29-millimetre textile dome tweeter does without the usual front plate, thanks to a large surround. It sits in a custom-drawn waveguide. This construction lowers the crossover frequency to 1.5 kHz and widens the usable band.
The bass driver combines a cast aluminium basket with a mineral-filled polypropylene cone. The midrange gains in definition and the bass in extension, down to 45 Hz at -6 dB. The crossover uses metallised polypropylene film capacitors on a double-layer board.
The cabinet uses a curved-groove damping technique that controls panel resonance. The Hover base lifts the speaker, steadies it and leaves no mark on the furniture. The front grille is magnetic and comes off without tools.
