The Bronze 50 7G measures 335 x 185 x 328 mm with all accessories fitted and weighs 6.4 kg. It sits on a shelf, a low cabinet or the ST-2 stand, which Monitor Audio lists as an option. Three finishes exist: Black, White and Walnut.
A single 6-inch C-CAM driver handles bass and midrange. It runs up to 3.0 kHz, where the crossover hands over to the tweeter. The HiVe II port is tuned to 47 Hz, and in-room response reaches down to 41 Hz at -6 dB.
The tweeter pairs a 25 mm C-CAM Gold dome with a UD waveguide. It extends to 30 kHz at -6 dB. The crossover is a new design on this 7G version.
Nominal impedance is 8 ohms. It never drops below 4.0 ohms, reached at 200 Hz. With 86 dB for 2.83 V at 1 m, an amplifier of 30 to 100 W into 8 ohms is enough, and peak SPL reaches 112 dB under AES75.
