Q Acoustics 3010c compact bookshelf speaker, with a 101 mm C3 midbass driver and a sealed 22 mm tweeter. It covers 60 Hz to 30 kHz (-6 dB) and sits on a shelf or a stand.
The 101 mm midbass driver uses the C3 profile, a continuous-curve cone. It pairs the bass stiffness of a straight cone with the midrange control of a flared cone. Large magnets coupled to the voice coil tighten the bass and limit distortion. The response extends from 60 Hz to 30 kHz (-6 dB).
The 22 mm tweeter is hermetically closed and mechanically isolated from the baffle. Neither the internal cabinet pressure nor the neighbouring midbass driver can make it vibrate. Its inner chamber is vented to reduce distortion, and the crossover takes over from 3.1 kHz.
P2P (Point to Point) braces support the areas of the cabinet that need rigidity. They improve the precision of the stereo image and the soundstage. The usable volume reaches 4.5 L, with a port at the rear above the binding posts. The sensitivity is 85 dB (2.83 V, 1 m) for a nominal impedance of 6 ohms.
It is available in Satin Black, Satin White, Claro Walnut and Pin Oak, that is two wood finishes, one dark and one light. A single-piece trim ring surrounds the drivers, in satin nickel, or satin chrome on the white model. Each speaker measures 254 × 155 × 251 mm and weighs 4.4 kg.
