Q Acoustics 3020c compact speaker, with a 120 mm C3 midbass driver and a sealed 22 mm tweeter. It reaches down to 60 Hz (-6 dB) and measures 279 × 175 × 281 mm.
The 120 mm midbass driver uses a single-piece curved cone profile. This C3 profile combines the bass stiffness of a straight cone with the midrange control of a flared cone. The response extends from 60 Hz to 30 kHz (-6 dB), with a usable volume of 6.9 L per speaker.
The 22 mm tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle. The neighbouring midbass driver therefore does not make it vibrate. The crossover hands it the signal from 2.6 kHz.
An internal Point to Point brace limits reverberation in the bass and helps the stereo image. This brace makes the cabinet very rigid and gives the soundstage more precision. The sensitivity reaches 87 dB (2.83 V, 1 m), with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, 3.7 ohms at minimum, for 25 to 90 W of amplifier power.
The 3020c comes in Satin Black, Satin White, Claro Walnut and Pin Oak, that is two wood finishes, one dark and one light. A single-piece trim ring surrounds the drivers, in satin nickel, or satin chrome on the white model. Each speaker measures 279 × 175 × 281 mm (H × W × D) and weighs 5.5 kg.
