Ultra-Compact Cabinet

The SONIK 1 stands 274 mm tall, 162 mm wide and 231 mm deep. A 5.25-inch bass-mid driver and a 29 mm soft dome cover 51 Hz to 26 kHz at plus or minus 3 dB. The cabinet weighs 4.1 kg with its grille, light enough for an ordinary shelf.

29 mm Soft Dome

The tweeter carries the range's 29 mm low loss soft dome in woven fabric. The two-way crossover sits at 2800 Hz, which leaves the dome the region where it works most evenly. Sensitivity is 86 dB for 2.83 V at one metre.

Clarity Cone Diaphragm

The 5.25-inch bass-mid driver uses a Clarity Cone mixing paper and wood fibre, stiff without turning brittle. The bass reflex loading is tuned to 51 Hz. A 6 ohm nominal impedance and a 25 to 100 W range suit an ordinary integrated amplifier.

Integrated Wall Bracket

The back carries an integrated wall bracket, so the speaker mounts without an accessory. DALI recommends 1 to 50 cm between the speaker and the rear wall, on a stand, a shelf or the wall. Maximum output is quoted at 106 dB at one metre.
