The 71.28 Wh battery lasts up to 2.5 hours of video in Eco mode, or 6 hours of music with the projector's lights off and the volume at 50% or below. Once unplugged, the MoGo 4 switches to Eco mode on its own: leaving it brightens the image but shortens battery life. The USB-C port also accepts an external power bank from 65 to 150 W, and the PowerBase Stand, sold separately, extends a session to 5 hours.
Google TV runs natively, with licensed Netflix, and the image comes out in 1080p at 450 ISO lumens. The built-in stand rotates through 360°: the projector aims at a wall, then at the ceiling, while focus and keystone correction readjust continuously. With a throw ratio of 1.2:1, the image ranges from 40 to 200 inches; the brand recommends 60 to 120 inches for the sharpest picture.
Two 6 W Harman Kardon speakers, compatible with Dolby Audio and Dolby Digital Plus, sit in a body 207.6 mm tall that weighs 1.31 kg. With the projector closed, holding the power button for 2 to 3 seconds starts ambient light mode: the device then plays music from your phone over Bluetooth, under soft mood lighting. While projecting, noise stays below 28 dB at 1 metre.
The Sunset filter clips magnetically onto the lens and bathes the room in a sunset glow. It comes with the projector; the Lunar, Ripple and Dreamscape filters are sold separately. XGIMI intends these filters for mood lighting in dim rooms, not for watching films. The box also contains two remote controls: a backlit Bluetooth model and a mini infrared model that clips onto the projector.
