The Pro-Ject Measure it DS is designed to measure tracking force with any combination of cartridge and tonearm, whatever its weight, shape or design. Cheaper scales quickly become awkward with large high-end cartridges. This one stays easy to use and ready for the future.

Accurate to 0.01 g

It measures from 0.01 to 200 g with a precision of 0.01 g. Factory calibrated, it gives reliable readings straight out of the box. Its backlit LCD stays readable during adjustment.

Non-magnetic surface

The weighing surface is non-magnetic, which matters with MC cartridges whose magnet could distort the reading. Five units are available: gram (1 g corresponds to 10 mN), ounce, pennyweight, carat and grain. It works between +10 and +30 °C.

Light and self-contained

The scale measures 116 x 20 x 100 mm and weighs 12 g. It runs on two included AAA batteries and switches off by itself after 60 seconds. It is easy to keep next to the turntable.
