Two channels, one panel

The MobiusDual i reproduces both channels of a stereo signal from a single 450 × 345 × 30.7 mm panel weighing 2.1 kg. It suits rooms with no space for a pair of speakers, where stereo width is not essential. The i version gets upgraded high-frequency transducers and moves to 6 ohms per channel, each handling 30 W continuous and 60 W peak.

Invisible under plaster

Once fitted, the MobiusDual i is covered with a 2 mm plaster skim and painted with the rest of the wall or ceiling. It can also sit behind solid wood, veneer or leather. No grille or cut-out remains visible in the room.

Optidrive and Opti-damping exciters

The panel is driven by Amina's proprietary transducers, with Optidrive, Opti-damping and Reduced Resonance Exciter technologies. Dispersion covers 180° × 180° across the specified range, so the sound stays even from one end of the room to the other. Sensitivity reaches 83 dB at 1 m / 2.83 Vrms with both channels driven, and response runs from 105 Hz to 29 kHz.

Backbox and APU protection

The MobiusDual i mounts in an Amina CV345 or SW345 backbox, or with Mounting Blocks. Wiring uses two pairs of blue butt-splice crimp terminals for 14 to 16 AWG cable. In-line protection uses two APUi30C, one APU-RS8iC or one APU-RS16iC.
