Slim 200 mm format

The Mobius 5i/S200 is the slim version of the Mobius 5i: 450 × 200 mm, 32 mm thick and 1.1 kg. It fits shallow stud walls and tight joist layouts. It also follows gently curved walls and ceilings with a radius above 6 m.

Invisible under plaster

Once fitted, the Mobius 5i/S200 is covered with a 2 mm plaster skim and painted with the rest of the wall or ceiling. It can also sit behind wood, veneer, leather or stone. No grille or cut-out remains visible in the room.

Optidrive and Opti-damping exciters

The panel is driven by Amina's proprietary transducers, with Optidrive, Opti-damping and Reduced Resonance Exciter technologies. Dispersion covers 180° × 180° across the specified range, so the sound stays even from one end of the room to the other. Sensitivity reaches 82 dB at 1 m / 2.83 Vrms and response runs from 81 Hz to 19 kHz at -6 dB.

Backbox and Guardian protection

The Mobius 5i/S200 mounts in an Amina CV200 or SW200 backbox, or with Mounting Blocks or the Tab Mounting Kit. Wiring uses blue butt-splice crimp terminals for 14 to 16 AWG cable. In-line protection comes from a Guardian 2, 8 or 16 unit. It can be supplied with a 100/70 V transformer for high-impedance installations.
