10 mm driver of the FiiO JD10

A 10 mm diaphragm

Each earpiece carries a 10 millimetre polymer composite diaphragm. A dual-cavity architecture works the bass, and the Japanese CCAW voice coil measures 0.033 millimetres. An N52 neodymium magnet drives its movement.

The two earpieces at rest, tips fitted

Thirty-two ohms

Impedance settles at 32 ohms at 1 kHz for a sensitivity of 105 dB per milliwatt. The passband runs from 20 Hz to 40 kHz. Each earpiece weighs 3.7 grams, which makes it easy to forget after a few minutes.

Detachable cable and its in-line microphone remote

A detachable cable

The oxygen-free copper cable detaches on 0.78 millimetre two-pin connectors and ends in a 3.5 mm plug. It measures about 1.2 metres. An in-line remote with microphone handles volume, playback and calls.

Two finishes

The JD10 comes in transparent and in transparent and black. The box holds three pairs of tips, with the medium size fitted from the factory. The earphones are Hi-Res Audio certified.
