Tube input stage

One 12AX7 tube and two 6N1 tubes handle the signal ahead of the transistor output stage. Distortion stays below 0.1 % at 1 kHz for 1 watt and the signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 90 dB. Bandwidth covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz at ±0.5 dB, extending to 50 kHz at ±2 dB.

Two times fifty watts

The amplifier produces 2 x 50 W into 8 ohms and 2 x 80 W into 4 ohms. Its 47 kilohm input impedance and 420 mV sensitivity suit common hi-fi sources. Two pairs of speaker terminals sit on the rear panel.

Television connection

An HDMI ARC input connects the television directly and lets its remote control the volume. Bluetooth joins the optical and coaxial inputs for wireless sources. WAV, FLAC, APE, LPCM, MP3, AAC, AC3 and WMA files are supported.

Outputs and dimensions

Two RCA outputs, one Rec Out and one Pre Out, allow a recorder or a power amplifier to be added. Two Power Control sockets synchronise switch-on with other units in the range. The chassis measures 43 x 11.8 x 37.5 cm and weighs 10 kg.
