One hundred and fifty watts per canal

The power stage in class A / B delivers 2 × 150 W under 8 ohms and remains stable up to a load of 2 ohms. Soundrengine2 technology Hegel On the upstream intervenes: it detects the distortion where it born and cancels it before it progresses in the chain, instead of correcting it afterwards. The damping factor exceeds 4000, which gives the amplifier a firm socket on the grave membranes. The bandwidth extends from 5 Hz to 100 kHz.

Streaming without imposed ecosystem

The H200 connects to the network and reads directly from the applications already used on a daily basis: Spotify Connect Lossless, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast and Roon Ready. No owner interface is imposed to access its music. The application Hegel Control completes the set with the selection of inputs, the volume, the Internet radio holes, podcasts and navigation in the UPnP libraries. Firmware and functions updates automatically install.

Integrated digital section

The converter accepts sources by coaxial, optical, USB-B, USB-A and network, up to 24 bits / 192 kHz on the coaxial input, USB-B and network. The USB-A port directly reads a key or disc containing up to 10,000 titles. Amplifier, Streamer and Converter being designed in the same house, power supplies, masses, clock and signal routing are treated as a whole, and digital circuits are isolated from the analog part by separate cards. A coaxial output and the DAC Loop function allow you to add an external converter later without changing the amplifier.

Analog and phono entries

Analog side, the H200 offers a symmetrical XLR input, two RCA entries, a fixed line output, a variable line output and a headphone output. The mobile magnet phono input resumes section MM of the brand's V10 preamp, with hand-appaired FET transistors and selected operational amplifiers. For use, each entry can receive a fixed volume level, the device learns the volume controls of a TV remote control, and the Digital Input Sense wakes up on signal detection. Control4, Crestron Home and Simpl Crestron are supported.
