The naked elliptical tip (8/18 μm) is based on a copper coil ™, associated with high energy neodymium magnets. The 0.5 mV output is dimensioned for the phono ™ floors or the preamps with strong gain.
The Red Quintet is aligned with a recommended strength of 2.3 g (range 2.1-2.5 g), for a 15 μm / mn compliance compliant with most turntables. The channel imbalance is less than 2 dB.
The frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 22,000 Hz (+ 2 / -2 dB), covering the entire musical content of a vinyl. The internal impedance of 7 Ω requires a load of minimum 20 Ω for optimal operation.
