The T 758 V3i drives seven channels at 60 W each into 8 ohms, all driven simultaneously across the full audio band, and delivers 110 W in stereo. NAD's PowerDrive amplification pairs high current with generous dynamic headroom: 137 W into 8 ohms and 243 W into 4 ohms of IHF dynamic power. Dialogue stays intelligible while effects and music keep their impact. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio are decoded by a multi-core DSP.
Dirac Live is built in, and its calibrated measurement microphone comes in the box. The system measures the room, then corrects both frequency response and timing errors, which improves tonal balance and imaging precision. Results stay consistent even when the speakers cannot be ideally placed, as in most living rooms. An upgrade to the full version of Dirac Live lets you create your own target curves.
The built-in BluOS module plays lossless music from a local library, internet radio and the main streaming services, with MQA decoding and FLAC, WAV and AIFF files up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The BluOS Controller app runs everything from a smartphone, tablet or computer, and groups other BluOS players to spread music through the whole house. AirPlay 2 is included too, with Siri voice control. An independent Zone 2, with its own source and volume, can be powered by the rear-channel amplifiers.
With MDC modular construction, the digital audio and video circuits sit on replaceable modules, here the AM230 audio module and the VM130 video module. The unit can therefore keep up with new formats without being replaced outright. The three HDMI inputs and the HDMI output handle 4K at 60 frames per second in 4:4:4 with HDCP 2.2 and HDR, as well as ARC and CEC. An RS-232 port makes integration into a home automation system easier.
