Seven high-current amplifier channels each deliver 95 W into 8 ohms, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. With one channel driven into 6 ohms, output reaches 150 W. Two subwoofer outputs complete a 7.2 setup, or a 5.2.2 with height speakers for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Six HDMI inputs, three of them 8K, are paired with two outputs. Recent consoles run in 4K at 120 Hz with VRR, ALLM and QFT. Upscaling converts HD sources for a 4K screen, and HDR is handled in HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dynamic HDR.
The on-screen setup assistant guides the connections step by step. Audyssey MultEQ XT then measures the room with the supplied microphone and calibrates each speaker, and the MultEQ Editor app for iOS and Android refines the curves. During playback, the level of each channel is shown in real time on the TV.
Dual Zone and Dual Source mode plays two different programmes in two rooms. A film can run in the living room while the kitchen listens to a podcast. Through HEOS Built-in, AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect, music reaches the whole house, in FLAC, ALAC and WAV up to 24-bit/192 kHz or in DSD 5.6 MHz.
