7.2-Channel Amplification

The RX-A4A delivers 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 0.06 per cent distortion. Driving one channel at 1 kHz, power reaches 135 watts. The high slew rate output stage drives 7.2 channels.

Immersive Decoding

The unit decodes Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. The CINEMA DSP HD3 engine offers 24 sound field programmes. Surround:AI analyses the scene in real time.

HDMI and Picture

Connectivity counts 7 entrées et 3 sorties HDMI sockets and a 7.2 canaux preamplified output. Video pass-through takes 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, with VRR and ALLM. Dolby Vision and HDR10 plus are supported.

Network and Calibration

Dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and MusicCast cover the network side. The ESS Hyperstream ES9007S converter handles streams up to 384 kHz at 32 bits. YPAO calibration measures the room at several points, and 2 optical, 1 coaxial and 4 analogue inputs complete the rear.
