The Marantz Cinema 30 is an 11.4-channel AV receiver rated at 140 W per channel, with seven 8K HDMI inputs. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D, Audyssey MultEQ XT32 calibration and built-in HEOS equip a complete home cinema.

The Cinema 30 houses eleven discrete class A/B amplifiers with current feedback, delivering 140 W per channel into 8 ohms. Into 6 ohms, output rises to 175 W with two channels driven and to 250 W with a single channel. A toroidal transformer, a copper-plated chassis and HDAM modules feed this stage. Processing handles up to 13.4 channels, and four independent subwoofer outputs spread the bass around the room.
All seven HDMI inputs accept 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz at up to 40 Gbps, with HDCP 2.3. Three HDMI outputs, one of them for a zone, serve the TV, a projector and another room, while eARC brings the TV sound back. Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, ALLM, VRR and QFT pass through unchanged, and upscaling takes 1080p and 4K sources to 8K. An MM phono input, two optical and two coaxial inputs round off the rear panel.
Decoding covers Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D and IMAX Enhanced, along with Dolby height virtualisation and DTS Virtual:X. Audyssey MultEQ XT32 calibration measures the room with the supplied microphone, backed by Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume and LFC. An upgrade to Dirac Live is available as an option.
The HEOS platform sends music to other rooms and brings together Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Amazon Music HD, Deezer and TuneIn, with AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth on top. Bluetooth transmission can also send the sound to wireless headphones. The RC051SR remote, the Marantz AVR Remote app and the Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple HomePod assistants control the unit. The casing comes in Black or Silver-Gold, measures 442 x 447 x 189 mm and weighs 19.4 kg.
