Black Marantz Cinema 60 DAB AV receiver on a dark wooden cabinet

7.2-channel AV receiver with DAB+

The Cinema 60 DAB combines a 7.2-channel AV receiver, the HEOS platform and an FM/DAB+ tuner. Its symmetrical front panel is built around the porthole OLED display that is a Marantz signature. The brand's Sound Master selected its components one by one for a warm and spacious sound.

Seven channels of 100 W

Seven amplified channels each deliver 100 W into 8 ohms, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, at 0.08 % distortion. The discrete power stage operates in class A/B and relies on HDAM modules. Bi-amping, A/B speakers and the zone speaker terminals are assignable.

Rear panel with HDMI inputs and speaker terminals

8K HDMI and Dolby Atmos

Six HDMI inputs, three of them 8K-capable, and two HDMI outputs, one of them eARC, accept HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG signals. Decoding covers Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. Audyssey MultEQ XT calibration adapts the sound to the room using the supplied microphone.

HEOS streaming and DAB+ radio

Built-in HEOS gives access to TIDAL, Amazon Music HD, Deezer and Spotify Connect, and plays music in several rooms. AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and control by Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple HomePod complete the package. The tuner receives FM and DAB+, and an MM phono input accepts a turntable.
