Surface-mount 10 inch

The DM10S-SUB houses a 10 inch driver in a surface-mount enclosure. It handles 300 W AES at 8 Ω and operates from 41 to 108 Hz, below the band of ceiling and wall DesignMax loudspeakers.

One hundred twenty-one decibels

Maximum output reaches 121 dB, the highest in the DesignMax range. On a terrace or dining space, this enclosure restores bass that a 5 inch ceiling loudspeaker cannot produce.

Mounting bracket included

The bracket ships with the unit. The enclosure measures 31.6 cm wide, 50.2 cm tall, 32.3 cm deep, and weighs 16.1 kg—a weight requiring solid mounting.

Taps 40 to 150 W

Three transformer taps—40, 80 and 150 W—place it on the 100 V line, with 8 Ω bypass. The 150 W tap exceeds those on loudspeakers: bass demands more power at equal perceived level.
