4th-order bandpass design

The ALF100CV is a passive fourth-order bandpass subwoofer rated at 200 W into 4 Ω, reaching down to 28 Hz. Its mounting system mechanically isolates the cabinet from the building structure, limiting the vibration passed into it. It fits between studs or joists on 400 to 600 mm centres with 115 mm of cavity or more, and also inside cabinetry, behind kitchen kickboards or under a sofa. The port can face forward or out of the end, and filtering is left to an external DSP: high-pass at 28 Hz, low-pass at 120 Hz or below.
