Passive sub between studs

The ALF100SM fixes directly to studs or joists on 400 mm centres and replaces a section of 12.5 mm plasterboard, needing only 89 mm of cavity depth. Its tapered edges can be plastered up to and feathered in, or fully skimmed over before decorating, and the bass vents through a 20 × 307 mm slot, often above a skirting board or hidden in an HVAC grille. Amina quotes 110 dB at 1 m down to 30 Hz, enough for a cinema room or a large space. This 200 W, 4 Ω passive sub needs an external DSP: high-pass at 25 Hz, low-pass at 160 Hz or below.
