Dual-rail power supply

The FlatCap XS is a dual-rail external power supply designed for Naim's XS range. It takes over from the internal supply of a compatible component to raise its performance.

One or two components

Its two outputs can power one or two Naim components at the same time. According to the XS brochure, one FlatCap XS can serve the CD5 XS CD player and the NAT05 XS tuner, and a second one the NAC 152 XS preamplifier.

24 V outputs

The outputs deliver 24 V on a dual rail. The mains input accepts 100 to 120 V or 220 to 240 V, at 50 or 60 Hz. In an already complete system, a second or even a third FlatCap XS can be added, each one dedicated to a single component.

The case shares the dimensions of the XS range: 43.2 × 30.1 × 7 cm, for 5.5 kg. The front panel is anodised and the cover painted black.
