The Power Box RS2 Sources powers up to four 20 V RS or RS2 components. A single linear supply thus replaces the wall adapters of every source. Four mini XLR to mini XLR cables are included.
The audio-grade toroidal transformer, shielded with copper foil, isolates the components from mains interference. Its power reserve far exceeds that of a standard wall adapter. A soft-start system prevents inrush current at switch-on.
Each of the four outputs supplies 20 V / 2 A within ± 0.5%. Ripple stays at no more than 6 mV peak to peak, thanks to a filtration capacity of 10,000 μF. Low-ESR capacitors and low-noise components with surge protection complete the circuit.
Mains input is through an IEC C15 socket at 230 V / 50 Hz. The aluminium case protects against interference, measures 20.6 cm wide, 7.1 cm high and 20.9 cm deep, and weighs 3.55 kg. It comes in silver or black and is made in Europe.
