Low dispersion fibers

The Forest uses hundreds of small diameter fibers grouped into a 1 mm beam. This multi-fiber construction considerably reduces the light dispersion in time, the main source of Jitter in a Toslink system. Less dispersion means a cleaner digital signal and more precise sound restoration.

Polished extremities with precision

The ends of the Forest fibers are polished accurately to maximize optical coupling to each connector. Careful polishing reduces losses to the injection of light into the fiber and improves the coherence of the light signal over the entire length of the cable.
