One supply, six components

The Power Box DS3 Sources powers up to six components: five Box Design units such as streamers, CD players or preamplifiers, plus one DC-driven turntable. A single linear power supply thus replaces their wall adapters. It is not suitable for integrated or power amplifiers.

Shielded toroidal transformer

The toroidal transformer, shielded between primary and secondary windings, acts as an isolating transformer and blocks mains interference. Its power reserve exceeds that of a standard wall adapter, with a low output impedance. The filtration capacity reaches 10,000 μF and the output ripple stays below 1 mV.

Six low-voltage outputs

The rear panel offers two 9 V / 2 A outputs, three 18 V / 1 A outputs and one 15 V output for a DC turntable, plus a 2.5 mm jack trigger output. Six connection cables are included. The 15 V output is not suitable for the X8, Xtension 9, 10 and 12, RPM 9 and 10 turntables or the Signature line.

DS3 size

The case measures 20.6 cm wide, 7.1 cm high and 20.9 cm deep including sockets, and weighs 3 kg. The mains input accepts 115 V or 230 V AC. It comes in silver or black, and shielded Connect it Power cables are available as an option.
