Two motors in step

The M-2 drives two motors, and there lies the whole difficulty: two torques applied to the same platter achieve nothing unless they are strictly in phase. The supply holds them together, at the frequency of the chosen speed. Several Transrotor decks offer a second motor as an option, the Massimo Nero among them.
