GaN audio power supply, 32 V model, up to 480 W. 1 MHz switching and noise filtering for Burson amplifiers and DACs.

The Fusion Core 32V is an audio power supply providing up to 480 W at 32 volts. It replaces the stock mains block of a compatible Burson amplifier or DAC. Its compact form sits beside the device it feeds.

The GaN transistors switch at 1 MHz, well above the 20 kHz of hearing and the bandwidth of standard MOSFETs. That high frequency, with custom filtering, moves noise away from the useful signal. The result is a cleaner supply.

A linear supply is bulky and runs hot, and its transformer lets a 50 Hz component through. The Fusion Core removes that hum by working at high frequency. It stays compact and cool.

The 32-volt version suits Burson devices that call for the highest voltage, such as the most powerful amplifiers. It connects in place of the supplied block. The input accepts a mains voltage from 100 to 240 volts.
