Dedicated external power supply

The NPX 300 supports the power supply of an electronics Naim compatible, which is then devoted to the only signal processing. Naim This presents it as an upgrade of the Streamer NSC 222. On standby, consumption remains under 0.5 W, and 0.3 W after the unit turns off.

Transformer and regulators DR

A new generation transformer and regulators with DR technology occupy the inside of the box. Naim Use the same DR regulation on its power amplifiers, including the NAP 250. The manufacturer announces a cleaner power supply and lower residual noise.

Burndy compatibility and cables

The power supply works with the New Classic 200 and 300 series products, as well as with NDX 2 and NAC-N 272 with a specific cable. Two Burndy links are delivered, one type 3 and one type 4, with the power-line Lite power cord. Naim Separates digital and analog power supplies on separate cables.

Aluminum frame

The cabinet takes over thick aluminum plates used throughout the range, a response to magnetic fields, temperature differences and vibrations. The chassis measures 43.2 × 31.75 × 9.15 cm and weighs 14.4 kg. A micro-USB jack, reserved for updates, is the only service connection.
