Each L/R S speaker has its own amplification: 2 x 50 W in total, in a 13.4 x 22.6 x 18 cm cabinet. A 21 mm aluminium dome tweeter and a 3-inch woofer with a bass-reflex port share the front face. The whole set sits on a desk or a shelf, with no extra electronics to house.
The rear panel brings together an RCA Aux input, a TOSLINK optical input for the television and a USB-C audio input for the computer. A subwoofer output lets you add a bass unit later. Two switches adapt the sound to a desk or to a placement close to the wall. The 2 m link cable connects the two speakers, and a Bluetooth LE remote control is supplied.
The Bluetooth link accepts SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX HD, which is enough to stream from a phone without a cable. DynamEQ technology keeps a correct tonal balance when the volume is turned down. Three modes, Normal, Movie and Voice, adjust the sound to the use. The stated response runs from 55 Hz to 24 kHz at plus or minus 3 dB.
The L/R S comes in black, white, blue, green, orange and walnut. It is sold as a pair: a 3.0 kg main speaker and a 2.6 kg secondary one. Tilting stands are available as an option to aim the sound at the listener.
