The Minx table stand holds the Min 22 laid on its side. The speaker then becomes a centre channel and slips under a television to carry the dialogue.
The stand raises the speaker off its support. Cambridge Audio states that this elevation improves the sound. It is designed for the Min 12 and the Min 22, upright or on its side.
The stand is made of brushed aluminium in a silver tone. Its profile is slim and its visual footprint stays small: the eye sees the speaker, not the support.
Each stand is sold individually. For a pair of Min 12, you therefore need two. For a Min 22 as a centre channel, one is enough. Cambridge Audio publishes neither dimensions nor weight for this accessory.
