The Sundara places a large planar magnetic driver on each side of the ear, in an open cup. The membrane, driven across its whole surface, moves as one piece rather than in zones. The bass keeps its shape and the midrange stays readable.

The NEO Supernano Diaphragm is a membrane nanometres thick and very light. It follows transients without delay, which holds the treble up to 75 kHz. The response reaches down to 6 Hz without the bass lagging.

With 32 Ω impedance and 92 dB sensitivity, the Sundara runs from a modest headphone amp, desktop or portable. Its 342 g make it one of the lightest planars in its class. It stays composed on the head through long listening.

The Sundara Silver takes a silver finish on its cups and headband. The open design widens the soundstage and lets the ears breathe. It is a first serious planar headphone, meant for listening at home.
