Hifiman HE1000 WiFi

The HE1000 with no separate electronics

The HE1000 WiFi takes the planar driver of the HE1000 series and adds direct reception of the stream, over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB. There is no need for a DAC or a desktop amp in front of the headphone. It plays PCM up to 768 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512, and handles LDAC and aptX HD over Bluetooth.

Nanometre-thickness diaphragm

The HE1000 membrane is known for its nanometre thickness, among the thinnest on the market. Its tiny mass lets it follow transients without delay, which holds the treble up to 65 kHz. The response reaches down to 8 Hz, two extremes rarely paired on a portable headphone.

Reinforced Stealth magnets

The Stealth magnets use a profile that lets the wave pass without turbulence, and the reinforced magnets drive a stronger field across the membrane. Distortion drops and channel separation reaches 105 dB at 1 kHz. The two channels stay distinct, with no blur at the centre.

Battery life and comfort

Over Wi-Fi the HE1000 WiFi lasts 6.5 to 7.5 hours, and up to 23 hours over Bluetooth, for 3 to 4 hours of charging. The Headband Gen.2 spreads the 452 g while you listen. The open design lets the ears breathe.
