Player and docking cradle

The PD10 & Cradle brings together the PD10 audiophile Android player and its AK Cradle dock. The player, with a stainless steel chassis, carries a 6-inch 1080 × 2160 touchscreen. The cradle, in aluminium, holds the PD10 upright.

Balanced XLR output

The AK Cradle adds a three-pin XLR output as a stereo pair, absent from the player on its own, at a level of 5.6 Vrms. It connects over USB-C for charging and data. It measures 126 × 97.1 × 166.4 mm for 565 g.

Dual AKM DAC

The PD10 pairs four AK4498EX converters with two AK4191EQ modulators, alongside Astell&Kern's Teraton Alpha audio technologies. An octa-core processor drives the whole. It reads PCM up to 768 kHz / 32 bit and native DSD512.

Outputs, storage and battery

The player has a 3.5 mm unbalanced output with optical output and a 4.4 mm balanced output, up to 4 and 8.3 Vrms in High mode. It carries 256 GB expandable by microSD up to 1.5 TB. Its 5,770 mAh battery offers around 15 hours of listening. It measures 75.4 × 149.5 × 17.3 mm for 435 g.
