The C 3030 borrows the visual language of NAD's earliest amplifiers: a black faceplate, two illuminated VU meters and the cursive NAD logo, a direct nod to the original NAD 3030. Its proportions stay compact, at 35.6 cm wide and 12.9 cm high. This retro look encourages more attentive listening, one record after another.
The HDMI eARC input connects the amplifier straight to the TV: films, series and live broadcasts play through the stereo system with more clarity and body. Bluetooth, with aptX HD support, receives music from a phone, tablet or laptop without a single cable. An optical input, an RCA line input and an MM phono input round out the rear-panel connections.
The power stage delivers 50 W per channel into 8 or 4 ohms, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with both channels driven. At peak, IHF dynamic power climbs to 120 W into 8 ohms and 250 W into 4 ohms, with output current above 16 A to hold dense passages without strain. The signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 90 dB on the line input.
The MM phono input takes a turntable directly, with no separate phono stage. A front-panel headphone output handles private listening, while the subwoofer output, with bass management and an optional fixed 80 Hz high-pass filter, adds a subwoofer to build a 2.1 system. The supplied remote control runs the whole setup, the auto-sense function handles automatic power-on and standby consumption stays at 0.5 W.
