One Hundred Watts per Channel

The A-S201 delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms at 0.2 per cent distortion. Maximum power reaches 115 watts per channel into 4 ohms, and dynamic power rises to 180 watts into 2 ohms. Signal-to-noise ratio on the CD input is 100 dB.

Phono Input and Tone

A moving-magnet phono input takes a turntable without a separate preamplifier. Bandwidth runs from 10 Hz to 100 kHz within 3 dB, and CD input sensitivity is 500 mV into 47 kilohms. The unit measures 435 by 141 by 333 millimetres and weighs 6.7 kilos.
