Built-in phono stage

The Suzi Pre carries a phono stage for both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges. Gain and loading impedance are selected from the front panel. Total harmonic distortion is quoted at 0.0007% A-weighted.

Connections and measurements

The unit gathers one RCA turntable input, two RCA line inputs and one stereo RCA output. Frequency response covers 7 Hz to 30 kHz within plus or minus 3 dB and signal-to-noise ratio reaches −103 dB. It runs on 12 V DC.

Control sphere

A central polychromatic sphere sets volume and picks the source. The supplied remote repeats those functions from the listening seat. Both headphone outputs, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm, deliver 160 mW into 100 ohms.
