Stereo power amplifier

The BerTTi delivers 55 W into 8 ohms and carries the ULTIMA technology developed for the amplifiers in the range. It belongs to the Table Top series, built to sit on a desk rather than in a rack. Chord presents it as its most affordable ULTIMA power amplifier.

Quoted measurements

Total harmonic distortion is quoted at 0.008% and signal-to-noise ratio at 87 dB A-weighted. Frequency response covers 5 Hz to 100 kHz within plus or minus 0.5 dB. Gain is 30 dB for an input sensitivity of 0.78 V.

Desktop format

The chassis measures 5.9 cm high, 23.5 cm wide and 25.6 cm deep, for 3.75 kg. Power consumption reaches 240 W at full output and falls to 1 W on standby. Two finishes are offered, silver and black.

Inputs and outputs
