Three hundred watts per channel

The 861 delivers 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 600 watts per channel into 4 ohms. In monaural mode, power reaches 800 watts into 8 ohms. Its damping factor of 900 is the highest in the North Collection.

MDCA amplification

The MDCA architecture lowers distortion without resorting to global feedback. Total harmonic distortion plus noise is limited to 0.001 % at 300 watts. The signal-to-noise ratio reaches 119 dB.

Mass and heat dissipation

The unit weighs 58 kilos at shipping and measures 48.1 centimetres wide by 21 high and 60.9 deep. This mass serves mechanical stability and heat dissipation. The two channels are built separately.
