Moon 761 power amplifier in a listening system

Two hundred watts per channel

The 761 delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 400 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Switched to mono, it carries 600 watts on a single channel. The damping factor of 800 keeps the bass drivers under control.

No global feedback

The unit works without global feedback and rests on the brand's MDCA architecture. Total harmonic distortion plus noise stays at 0.001 % at 200 watts. The signal-to-noise ratio reaches 117 dB.

Rear panel with the monaural mode selector

Dual mono construction

The two channels are built separately inside the chassis, MOON output transistors included. A selector switches the unit to monaural mode. Bandwidth covers 2 Hz to 100 kHz.
