Moon amplifier with AirPlay 2 in a living room

AirPlay 2 upgrade

This upgrade activates AirPlay 2 on MOON units fitted with the MiND 2 module. It is aimed at owners of an ACE, a 280D, a 390 or any other model carrying that module. No extra box enters the living room.

Wireless streaming to a hi-fi system

Playback from an Apple device

Once activated, playback starts directly from an iPhone, an iPad or a Mac. Apple's protocol supports streaming to several rooms at once. The MOON unit then appears among the available destinations.

Control app and connected unit

Alongside MiND 2

AirPlay 2 adds to the services already reachable through the MiND 2 module, including Spotify Connect and Roon compatibility. The MOON MiND Controller app stays available for the rest. The two routes coexist without any particular setting.

Compatibility to check

The upgrade only concerns units that already carry the MiND 2 module. A unit without it must receive that module first. Our team checks the compatibility of your unit before any order.
