Moon BRM-1 smart remote control in the hand

Rotary dial

The BRM-1 is handled with a rotary dial that sets the volume by gesture. Feedback is immediate, without going through a menu. The touch surface completes the control.

OLED display showing volume and source

Graphic OLED display

A graphic OLED display shows the volume and the selected input directly on the remote control. The information comes back from the unit being driven. There is no need to look at the front panel to know the state of the system.

Bluetooth connection

Communication goes over Bluetooth rather than infrared. The remote therefore does not need to be pointed at the unit, nor even to be in its line of sight. The on-screen feedback follows directly from that.

USB charging socket and cradle

Rechargeable battery

A long-lasting rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the remote control. Charging is done with a standard USB charger, without a proprietary accessory. It drives the 681, 791 and 891 units of the North Collection.
